Breakfast is its own restaurant category in the United States. Diners serve eggs, pancakes, hash browns and bottomless coffee from early morning, sometimes around the clock; breakfast and brunch restaurants open around 7 and close in the early afternoon; delis and sandwich shops sell egg sandwiches and bagels to go and switch to lunch by 11. Weekend brunch, roughly 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., is the busiest shift of the week, and well-known spots run waits of 30 to 60 minutes; many now take reservations or a waitlist through an app. Expect large portions, free refills on drip coffee and a tip of 15 to 20 percent for table service. Creperies, waffle houses and bistros round out the group with sweeter or European-style menus.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–2 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Erie is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Erie follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Absolutely delicious food. Must try anytime you’re in Erie. This is the best food I’ve had up there. The food was prepared so delicately. The burger and cottage cheese was so good.

We sat outside on a lovely day and I engorged myself with a Rise N Shine breakfast burger. It had double beef patty, sunny side up egg, lettuce, tomato, and their homemade bacon mayonnaise sauce. I added a little hot sauce for some spiciness. Ate the whole thing within ten minutes, it was SO good!!

We dined here on 6/27/26. The restaurant is a classic diner car and is pretty cool. The restaurant was very busy and took about 10 minutes to get a booth. We could have been seated outside when we arrived there. The staff are very attentive and friendly. I had the Scrambler Bowl w/Candied JalapeΓ±os. It was very tasty. My wife had a Western Omelette which said was very good. I would definitely dine here again.

Great little place. Cinnamon rolls are amazing. Do pay attention to hours if you want breakfast!! Don’t pull a me!! Breakfast is over at 11!!!! The cook however saved the day offering the last two cinnamon rolls, sides of bacon, and sausage gravy biscuits to share. The sausage gravy wasn’t my taste hence my four star on that. Everything else including coffee was amazing!!!! Thank you, we will make the drive back!!

Lawrence Park Dinor is a must-stop if you’re in the Erie area! A small and cozy diner from the 40s, it offers the most friendly and conversational staff (who call all of the regulars by name!) and terrific food at a good price. We stopped for lunch, and I tried the cowboy burger with onion peels- a solid recommendation from the chef, as we sat at the bar right behind the grill and chatted away with him for a good part of our visit. We watched the chef cook all of the food with perfect timing, and it was fun to have a front-row seat to the cooking, with everything looking delicious. They make the burgers fresh daily (no frozen beef here due to limited freezer space), and you can really taste the difference in quality. Although we didn’t order it, the Greek sauce was highly popular with other patrons of the diner. My husband and brother both got the chicken bacon ranch sandwich with fries, and it’s a generous serving of chicken, so much that my brother said he pulled some off to have chicken tenders on the side. My brother said it was so good that he’ll be reminiscing about it for the foreseeable future and is eager to plan a return trip to Erie just to go to the diner. They also hav
